NEW PARKING SYSTEM AT BERRY HEAD CAR PARK
The new system has been installed for one week now. It is a pay-on-exit system, but it doesn’t have barriers; instead the camera recognises your number plate and the machine tells you the correct fee when you come to leave the car park.
There have been a few teething issues with number plate recognition, and the machine has not always been accepting payment, but these are being fixed and we hope it will be a lot better than the old system!
One of the real strengths of the new model is you have 48 hours to pay your fee. Simply log on to https://www.parkwithease.co.uk/make-a-payment.aspx and it should all work smoothly.
Please note, members of Torbay Coast and Countryside Trust can continue to park for free in the vehicle(s) they have registered as part of their membership.
