After a hard summer where our poor team has literally been run off their feet, we are really happy that we are now back open 7 days per week. As usual we intend to stay open throughout the winter except for a day or two at Christmas time.

We’re very happy to finally be back open inside the Guardhouse. For the time being, seating is slightly limited by social distancing rules, but even so – it’s much better than seeing poor customers getting soaked in the rain.

Despite the lockdown and the cold weather, we remain open 9:30-3:30 every day (unless the weather is bad).

Due to the Tier 3 restrictions imposed from 31/12/2020 we are currently operating the cafe as a Takeaway only, with food, cakes and drinks available every day 9:30 – 3:30 (unless very bad weather).

CHRISTMAS OPENING TIMES
Tier 2 restrictions and December on a windy headland are a tricky combination for running a cafe. But we don’t want to leave customers without a chance to get a hot drink on a cold day! We will be opening the Guardhouse this month but with some changes from “normal operation”.
