The days are short, it’s getting cold, and it’s still too early to get excited about Christmas… November evenings need something to get you out and about!
From the start of the month (and thanks to our Greater Horseshoe Bats going into hibernation) we are allowed to hold our evenings again, and we have just started making our plans for the first evenings:
- Friday November 2nd: Fish Friday (£25 – menu TBC)
- Friday November 9th: Vegetarian & Vegan Tapas (£ & menu TBC)
- Friday November 16th: Warming Winter Pies (£ & menu TBC)
- Friday November 23rd: Thanksgiving Dinner (£ & menu TBC)
The evenings promise a blend of quality home-cooked food and friendly relaxed service, in the eery, atmospheric beauty of Berry Head at night. Advance booking is essential and we require a £10 deposit per person when taking the booking. Please book by emailing events@guardhousecafe.com, or in the café.
With advance notice we can cater for most dietary requirements.

From the end of the month we will be using our evenings for Christmas Parties. For groups of 30-50 we are happy to offer you exclusive use of the café; for smaller groups, we have at least two evenings where we will be hosting a number of groups at the same time:
- Friday November 30th
- Friday December 7th
- Other dates are also available – please ask!
Our Christmas menu (see attachment here) is priced at £25 for 3 amazing courses followed by mince pies and coffee. We can cater for dietary requirements with advance warning.
