A warm welcome to our two new senior chefs, Martin and Stacey.
Martin has a Masters degree in archaeology from his home country of Bulgaria, but while he was studying he worked hard in a variety of restaurants in Sofia. In 2016 he moved to Torquay and worked as Sous Chef in the Corbyn Head Hotel until joining us in March. We are delighted to have found such an experienced and skilled chef and Martin will be our new Head Chef, taking on the role from Sarah who will be moving away from Brixham later in the year.
Stacey is a local girl who trained to be a chef at south Devon college while working at the Manor pub in Galmpton. Most recently she was one of the two main chefs at Shoals Café and consequently comes with a huge knowledge of cooking fish! We are very lucky to have her working in our team now, not only is she calm and efficient even at really busy times, she also cooks the most perfect eggs we’ve ever seen.
